At this time, the Regional Executive Council has reinstated the Councilor for Visitations’ office and has appointed Muriel Baum, SFO of St. Maximilian Kolbe Fraternity (Libertyville) to serve on the the council through December 2012.

The following brothers and sisters have been appointed to serve on the Regional Executive Council through December 2012:

  • Councilor for Communications/Public Relations:
    Gloria Huerta, SFO
    (St. Francis of Assisi Fraternity, Fox Valley)
  • Councilor for Fraternal Life:
    Bonnie Michels, SFO
    (Northwest Franciscan Community of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Palatine)
  • Councilor for JPIC (formerly Apostolates):
    Stephanie Sormane, SFO
    (St. Bernardine of Siena Fraternity, Wayne)
  • Councilor for Vocations:
    Norman Mosk, SFO*
    (St. Francis-St. Louis Fraternity, Chicago)

    * Re-appointed to third term.

The duties of the previously-existing role of Councilor for Visitations have been incorporated into the Secretary’s office. In addition, the Councilor for Youth/Young Adults will not be filled at this time; the council may fill this role later in the summer.
